I don't know about you, but I always want my tables covered with a tablecloth to make everything look polished and elegant. It also keeps the dust down, as I can just quickly shake out the cloth in the backyard. For the different holidays, it is easy to switch out table covers to match the season and my existing decor. If they are a little bigger, it doesn't matter, it will be longer and sometimes I don't want the underneath of the table to show.
But I have one table in the living room that I do want to have the perfect size so I can set up a refreshment and baked goods table for an open house. That means I need to find a 60 inch round Christmas tablecloth with green and red in the design.
One of the other reasons I like to cover our tables is we have one that when the dog was a puppy, he gnawed on two of the legs. The table is still perfectly fine, but I don't like showing his teeth marks. Needless to say, I need enough coverage so that the display looks beautiful and no-one is any the wiser about the dog marks.

I didn't expect this size to be particularly difficult to find, but every time I looked in the stores, everything was smaller or it was rectangle. Luckily, online, I can find a much better selection of the exact dimensions.
